Lacey's House was opened in 2009, with the anticipation of getting homeless Veterans off the street.  Since then Lacey's House has created thirty available beds for those who are ready and willing to change their lives.  The home has a zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.

Private rooms are set up to give each individual their own space which includes a twin bed, nightstand and dresser.  The kitchen, bathroom, living room and laundry room are all common areas.  Each person has a chore that they must do each day to help keep the house clean

We started Lacey's House transportation with a 1986 short school bus.  The bus gave us an idea of how important it is that we expand our vehicle services

Lacey's House now has three 12 passenger vans along with the bus.  These vans give Lacey's House the ability to take men and women to their appointments and also events that Lacey's House Participates in.

With Lacey and Mike's effort in helping the homeless they have discovered a growing population that is coming to the age of needing to get medical attention.  So, Lacey's House and with the help of Jim Palmer and Gordon Padget, are putting together a bus route to help those men and women get out in the woods and get to the VA Hospital and CBOC.

Lacey's House has a program set up for those who a capable of working, being put back to work within a month or so.

Being a part of Lacey's House will help with the self esteem and gaining control of their lives again.  Being unemployed can really bring a person down.  At Lacey's House the environment is set up for everyone to give each other a helping hand when needed.

Outside Excursions

Lacey's House does a lot of outside actrivities including but not limited to : Parades, Beach cleanup's for SOLV, summertime adventures at the Lake, meetings outside the home, and anything else that may come up as an opportunity for the house to participate in
