Lacey’s House is pleased to be a part of the Hillsboro’s 4th of July Parade. This is one of Oregon’s largest parade with over 120 participants. Come on out and enjoy the day with us, be sure to bring a chair and plenty of water. The parade begins at 10 a.m. The Hillsboro Fourth of July parade is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hillsboro.
Operation Soldier is still going strong. Be sure to bring your gently worn athletic shoes and cleats to donate to Operation Soldier. We have made our first shipment to Chile and Lacey’s House is already planning the next shipment to Africa. Thank YOU for your support in making this happen.
Serving Veterans Who Served for Our Freedom
Welcome to Lacey’s House – Oregon’s first privately funded home. Lacey’s House plays a huge part in the Veteran Resource Center (VRC) for veterans. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment which offers encouragement, dignity, and hope. We work hard to assist veterans to improve their lives and successfully reintegrate back into society by filling the veterans needs other agencies do not. Lacey’s House of Dreams can currently support 16 full-time residents.
The VRC is currently open from 10am – 2pm Monday through Friday, offering camaraderie and a safe, clean environment to all veterans. At the VRC, veterans can receive cold weather gear, donated clothing, employment assistance, a warm meal, a hot shower, and connection to many resources in our local area. If you know a veteran in need, want more information, or would like to donate please contact us at 530 S 1st Ave Hillsboro, OR. 97123 or call us at 503 726-9585.
